Yesterday, Jose Valverde came up with an original way to go through the entire process of throwing a sphere towards the sphere receiver without actually doing so.

What really makes the GIF for me though is how nonchalant he is about the whole thing, as he casually checks the ball afterward while the batter, catcher, and umpire are frozen in what I can only imagine is part confusion and part astonishment.
