Jim Joyce didn’t like the old strike zone, so he invented a new one, much to Matt Holliday’s dismay

Jim Joyce is a rebel. He cares not for what the strike zone is supposed to be, nor does he care for what the MLB tells him to enforce. He’s in charge here, so he makes the strike zone and he makes the rules.

I imagine Jim Joyce’s internal dialogue to be something along those lines.

Not that Matt Holliday is amused by any of it.
