Jon Jay did not have fun in center today.
In the first he didn’t see the ball off the bat and got a horrible jump, forcing Matt Carpenter into a difficult play in shallow center.
In the fourth he had a communication problem with Carlos Beltran.
In the fifth he forgot to squeeze the glove.
In the eighth he made a diving attempt but came up without the ball.
After that attempt, he came to terms with his horrible day.
